It is the responsibility of the agency to customize these policies and procedures to their agency’s operations while ensuring that the regulations and standards are met. It is also the responsibility of the agency to ensure these policies and procedures are communicated and followed by all staff and contractors.
It is recommended that the agency customize this manual by replacing the term agency with the agency’s actual name and in the patient rights section to include the name of organization(s) and contact information for patients, representatives and/or family members to express concerns regarding the quality of patient care and/or complaints. This varies depending on the location of the agency and has to be customized.
